On your first call with movers, tell the following basic details about your move:

>> Which floor you reside on (at both houses),

2Will packers & movers dismantle & re-install items like AC, TV, Geyser...etc?
Yes. Upon your request, moving companies will disassemble & reinstall items like AC, TV, geyser, fan etc., at extra charges which will vary for different items.
3What items should I not shift with movers?
Valuable items like important documents, jewelry, laptop, cash..etc.
4What services do packers & movers offer in the basic package?
The basic relocation services provided by packers and movers are:
(1) packing goods at origin,
(2) loading them into truck,
(3) transporting them to destination,
(4) unloading items at the doorstep,
(5) unpacking delivered boxes,
(6) timely pickup and delivery at your door.

2Could you explain the kind of containers used by you?
We use close body containers of different sizes to suit your requirements.
3How does moving insurance work? Is it mandatory to purchase insurance?
Moving insurance offers full protection to household items against unexpected damages or misplacement at every step of the move. Movers offer 2 types of moving insurance, i.e., all-inclusive insurance (covers goods from start to end of relocation) and transit insurance (covers goods only during transportation).
Purchasing insurance is not at all compulsory, especially if you’re moving over short distances since damages would be much less. However, when shifting over long distances, it is advisable to get insurance cover as the risk is much higher due to unforeseen circumstances like accidents, fire, or natural disasters.
4Is your company GST Registered?
Yes, we are GST Registered packers and movers and our GST number and pan card details are also provided on the documents so your company can settle your bills for claim.
5What are different cost heads in a moving price estimate?
Typical moving price estimate consists of the following cost heads.
>> The distance to be covered from current place to destination.
>> Total volume and weight of items that need to be packed and shifted.
>> Size and type of truck/vehicle required for transferring goods.
>> Types and quantity of packing materials and moving boxes required in packing.
>> The floor of buildings at both places - source and destination.
>> Manpower requirement, difficulty level and time consumption in the process.
>> You also need to consider other charges such as insurance (optional), GST, toll tax.
